[Rabigh, 28/06/2026] – Thermojinn has successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a customized concrete cooling system for the Al Arabia batching plant in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. This project marks the debut deployment of Thermojinn’s custom-engineered extended screw, designed with a total horizontal reach of 23 meters.
The defining highlight of the Rabigh project is the first-time integration of an ultra-long, custom-engineered screw conveyor. Reaching an unprecedented horizontal span of 23 meters, this extended delivery system was specifically designed to navigate the unique spatial constraints of the Al Arabia facility.
Standard ice lifting screw setups often require the ice storage to be positioned immediately adjacent to the mixer. However, Thermojinn’s 23-meter extended screw conveyor bridges a massive distance, transporting sub-cooled flake ice smoothly and rapidly from the storage unit directly into the batching controls.
This engineering breakthrough allowed Al Arabia to seamlessly integrate the heavy-duty cooling infrastructure without undergoing costly or disruptive modifications to their existing site layout. Despite the extended 23-meter travel distance, the ice lifting delivery screw design ensures zero loss of cooling capacity, delivering pristine, rapid-melting flake ice exactly when the mixing cycle demands it.
The successful deployment guarantees that Al Arabia can continuously produce high-strength, temperature-regulated readymix concrete, completely neutralizing the intense heat of the Saudi Arabian climate.
