The equipment is being set up for Haif Concrete Batching Plant, which plays a key role in the Urban Centralized Water Supply Project in Saudi Arabia. This project aims to ensure reliable water supply to city residents, and high-quality concrete is essential for constructing water reservoirs, pipelines, and pumping stations.
In Saudi Arabia’s hot climate, controlling concrete temperature is a major challenge. That’s why Haif chose Thermojinn’s concrete cooling system. The 80T ice plant system produces large amounts of ice on site, while the 90T automatic ice storage system stores the ice and feeds it directly into the readymix concrete during batching. This helps keep the concrete at the right temperature, preventing cracks and ensuring strength.
The 80T ice plant system is designed for easy operation and low maintenance. It runs automatically, producing flake ice that mixes perfectly with readymix concrete. The 90T automatic ice storage system works seamlessly with the ice plant, storing up to 90 tons of ice and releasing it exactly when needed. Together, they form a complete concrete cooling system that is efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.
For readymix concrete producers, temperature control is critical, especially in summer when ambient temperatures exceed 40°C. Without proper cooling, concrete can set too fast, leading to weak structures. Thermojinn’s concrete cooling system solves this problem by adding precisely controlled ice instead of water, which would require much more volume to achieve the same cooling effect.
The installation at Haif Concrete Batching Plant is progressing smoothly. Local engineers and Thermojinn’s support team have worked together to mount the ice plant, connect the storage system, and integrate it with the plant’s batching controls. Once commissioning is complete, the system will run 24/7 to supply cooled readymix concrete for the Urban Centralized Water Supply Project.
